2025 OMLPOA Moth Spraying Update
05-16-25 Update: We are very sorry to announce that our vendor was forced to cancel our 2025 spongy moth spraying contract because 2 objectors insisted on the 500' buffer which did not leave enough area to have any effective community spraying. Unfortunately this situation will most likely be the same next year also so the prospect of future community spraying is out too.

Marcel Lake Bass Moratorium
Marcel Lake Estates (MLE) is a separate private community from Old Marcel Lake POA and is located on the west side of Marcel Lake. MLE owns Marcel Lake and we are granted the right to use the lake for recreational purposes in line with the OMLPOA Covenants and Restrictions along with our property deeds. MLE has imposed a moratorium against the harvesting of bass. Any bass caught must be released back into the lake - catch and release only. There is a $100 fine imposed by MLE if someone is caught harvesting bass during this moratorium.
Marcel Lake Estates - Boat Registration & Fishing Rules
Marcel Lake Estates is the owner of Marcel Lake. As such, please refer to and abide by their fishing regulations linked below. All boats using the Lake must be registered with MLE. Please see the attached registration form.

This is a reminder that Marcel Lake Estates is a private community. If you wish to visit there, it should be by permission through the front gate only. Also E-Bikes are not permitted.
